Hello! I’m Lucy, thanks so much for stopping by our shop and taking the time to read a little more about our small business, Lulubells. If you wondered what our story was, here goes...
Lulubells was born on a Californian road trip in 2014 inspired by glamping adventures we had on the way. In 2015 we did our first event, our own wedding! And afterwards decided to hire tents to friends and family, things evolved naturally from there and we grew pretty organically.
We now have a collection of 30 tents and have been providing pop-up glamping experiences at events, parties and gatherings ever since. When I say we, I mean myself (Lucy), my husband (Tristan), our daughter (Indy-Moon), Boston Terrier pooch (Morris) and Australian ray of sunshine (Lucille) who is very much part of our bell-tent family. We are based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and during the summer months we are a group of nomads, travelling and roaming across the country with our collection of tents. Putting them up, and taking them down in all weathers.
Our ethos and motivation has always been to create beautiful, cosy and dreamy spaces for our guests to spend time outdoors in comfort. We are keen glampers and festival goers, we love to sleep under the stars in our cosy canvas tents, our own experiences have helped to shape our approach and we take great care to ensure we create a relaxed, magical and hassle free stay for all our guests. We believe in setting up a practical and stylish base camp that gives you everything you need for a traditional camping holiday with a touch of comfort.
In summer 2020, we launched a pop-up online shop, with a small collection of objects and items to reflect what we are doing this summer - picnics in the park, walk in the woods, wild swimming. Some of the items you might find inside our tents, and others are new, all are practical, beautiful and mindfully produced. The shop was always part of our vision for Lulubells, and feels like a natural extension of what we already do.
I really want your experience shopping with us to feel good. A small treat for yourself or gift for someone else, we want you to love what you buy. We are not advocating consumerism, everything in our shop is created on a small scale, by a person, in the UK. Let's buy less and spend more on each item to ensure longevity and quality.
Thanks so much for stopping by our shop. We hope you love the items as much as we do.
